Yolanda Tobias Obituary
Yolanda V. Tobias, born November 6, 1944, went to be with our Lord on September 29, 2009 at the age of 64. She was preceded in death by her parents, Audencio and Angelita Villarreal, sisters, Soila Cubillos, Amelia Cortez, grandchildren, Christopher Michael Tobias and Jesse Barajas Jr. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Rogelio Tobias Sr., children, Rogelio Tobias Jr. (Rebecca G.), Emma Ruiz (Paul), Martina Tobias, Santa Tobias, Maria I. Salazar (Isaac), grandchildren, Vanessa M. Tobias, Paulette Leal, Emmanuel Ruiz, Roxanne M. Salazar, Isaiah I. Salazar, great-grandchildren, Zoe Myshell Tobias, Rodolfo Leal III and Jesse Jaden Leal. The family would like to thank Dr. Lori Pounds and staff for their care and support during this difficult time. Visitation begins Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be held on Friday, October 2 2009 at 7:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 9:00 am for a 9:30 am Mass at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the San Fernando Cemetery #2.

Yolanda was a flower, a rose to be exact, or maybe like a brand new gate that never came unlatched, she touched many lives . she was like an owl, both beaulitful and wise or perhaps she was like a ghost, whose spirit will never die. she wasn't prefect unitl you fell in love with her, and so many " Love " her.... Everyone leaves footprints in your memory, but ones that leves foorprints in your heart are the ones you will truly remember. Our deartest cousins.. Emma , Rogers , Santa , Maria and Roger Sr .. The rain may be falling hard outside, but keep your smiles, for you " all " are the joy that made her life . she 's a single rose that we can call a garden, but a loving " Mother and Wife " to you all, we know she was your world....Lots of love always,

MY MOM WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON, AND I WILL MISS HER ALOT. SHE LOVED TO GO FISHING, AND CAMPING. SHE ALSO LOVED TO TRAVEL.MY MOM AND DAD WERE GOING TO COMPLETE 50 YEARS MARRIED TO EACH OTHER NEXT YEAR, BUT THE GOOD LORD CALLED HER IN.
