Mike! I just learned about Carol and it hurt me. You two were always great friends and even though we haven't been close you were always in my thoughts. I was honored to be the best man at your wedding and Carol was such a sweetheart to put up with us. I'm really sorry about this Mike. Owen.

Anyone who got to know Carol wanted to be more like her. Just by being who she was she made everyone who knew her a little nicer. That spirit will live on in all of us she touched.

Carol Ann Mikules touched my life in such a way as to have made me a better person. She taught me, by example, the tremendous power of listening with both ears. She had a quiet dignity that is hard to express in words, but that everyone reading this understands instantly. I pray that there will be some measure of comfort daily for Aurora, Kelly, Michelle, Bryan, and her dearly beloved grandchildren, Kelly, Carson, Kate, and Chloe. Saddest of all, there are people who never met her and never experienced the presence of an Angel on earth. I am grateful to have known Carol Ann Hook Mikules. The song, "We Can Be Kind" by Nancy Allen makes me think of Carol. St. Peter might be looking for a job now.

Kelly,
The perfect words are so difficult to find when one whom we've loved so much passes on. I remember how your eyes sparkled and a smile spread across your face when you spoke of Carol when I first met you. I could tell that she was a very special lady. Then I had the opportunity to meet her ~ And I saw that she was indeed, a very special lady.

From the myriad of stories that I have heard about her, from the beautiful smile that I saw on her face the few times we said "Hello", and from the kindness that I felt from her eyes, I can tell that she touched everyone's life with whom she made contact.

Carol will forever be with you and your family in spirit and in memories. May her love, strength, and guidance warm your hearts within each and every day.

With much love,

Marilyn Mulloy

Dear Carol, I cannot imagine how different my life would be today if I had not answered an ad in the newspaper for a secretary twenty three years ago. The friendship and love you have shown to me and my family have been life changing, and my heart is broken. Your spirit will be with me forever.

We cherish so much the memories that were made with you and Carol. The Mille Fleurs cruises, the Millennium cruise and all of the wonderful parties. Carol was an inspiration to all of those who knew her. Her elegance and quiet confidence will be remembered by all.
We were blessed by the joy of knowing her as she passed, too quickly, through this life.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you now, as you go through this difficult time.
