Dana will be truly missed, especially in the square dance community. I remembered when he first dated Lynne in the 70's. I lost track of both of them after I joined the Navy and being married and raising children.. Dana did so much for Single Spinners, He and Lynne along with all the dedicated members have kept it going. RIP Dana I salute you for your dedication and commitment.

We will all miss Dana in the square dance community, and especially in Single Spinners. He did so much for our club and for square dancing in San Diego. I remember how he made stands for our decorations, put up a big shade for our picnics, did the Pasadena Rose Parade run after our New Years Eve party, and was president of our club. I remember him dancing with daughter Kim at Spinners whenever I hear "Jingle Bell Rock". Dana, we will miss you.

Dana, a gentle soul, who was always helpful. Helped get my husband and me together. Replaced my water heater after my husband's death. While he did hold offices in square dancing, he was also a behind the scene guy, not needing credit for what he did. Enjoy heaven with my guy! Prayers for you and the family and friends you leave behind!

Dana grew up down the road from me. I remember how kind he was to everyone, and what a great classmate he was. What a beautifully written obituary.

I remember travelling in Dana's RV up to the Rose Parade with Single Spinners; a lot of fun. Dana could square dance girl or boy and was not above trading squares on the fly. He also cued round dances for many years at Single Spinners. He will be missed.

Sled riding and maple syrup drizzled over the first snow are favorite memories. Cold meant nothing when you had great neighbors to share winter with. Such was Dana and his family in the Mills Mills neighborhood of western NY.
