I met Mr. Asbury through Dennis. I recall how happy he was to see his grand-daughters (Denise & Michelle) when I flew with them from Spain to San Diego and he picked up us at the airport. A kind and gentle man. I know his family will miss him terribly.

My husband worked with Jim at ONC and they became close friends. We had good times with Jim and Marie. Over the years we lost contact, but never forgot the memories. The original Mustang and building a camper shell in his garage...a very talented guy. My sincere sympathy goes to the Asbury family and especially Marie.

To the Asbury Family,

I am a high school friend of Jim's sister Leona. I grew up on 46th Street and there was a time when Jim's mother and father and siblings that were home lived on 46th Street. I'm sure I met Jim and Leona's other siblings. As an only child I loved being around big families. Please give my regards to Leona. May all your memories sustain you in your time of loss and sorrow.

Truly,

Darlene Pierceall Cason
