Thinking of Kendra
and her vibrant spirit
today!
rest in peace!

I think of Kendra and miss that smile and determination. She was and will always be a shinning example of love and friendship. It was such a privilege to spend time with her as she fought so diligently against her illness.
She has left us physically but will never be forgotten. As I walk my dog at night, I look up and smile and wave to her as the stars are merely slits where our loved ones look down and let us know that they are happy.
I am so grateful to have called her my PEO Sister.

I think of Kendra often and keep her picture on my desk. She was my special icon-- a truly kind and optimistic person, rare and life-affirming. I intuited that it was the anniversary. (I don't take the paper anymore, but someone brought me the announcement.) I've thought about her lovely children, Kasey and Ryan, and Jay and hope they are finding their way without her physical presence. Her spirit is with us.

I so enjoyed getting to know Kendra when I worked at CSPP where she earned her doctorate in psychology. What a lovely and caring person...blessings to her family and memory!
