Kristina was a wonderful mother and community member. I had the pleasure and privilege to know her and her family. She always took a moment to say “hello” and was generous with her smiles and appreciation. She was caring, kind, and supportive and showed up to every school event. When I heard of her passing I was so sad and I know the community and school was mourning for her family’s loss and the loss of a person who lived life to the fullest and still found time and energy to keep giving to others. Thank you Kristina for your beautiful smile and years and years of support for our schools and education for all in the Mission Bay Cluster.

We are so sad to hear about Kristina's passing. She was a dynamo at getting things done and such a nice person. We couldn't have built up the MBHS Aquatics program without her help. We'll miss seeing her smiling face around. Love, good memories, and prayers to your family during these difficult days and months ahead. We love you Tom, Sean, Kory, and Addison!

I will miss you, Kristina. My heart aches for your parents, Mary Dell
and Barry, and your sister, Kari Lynn. I never met your children or your husband, but I'm sure they loved you beyond words. I was your 5th grade teacher at Golden Avenue Elementary in Lemon Grove. You were a fine example of how to live life, and I count myself among the many lucky ones whose life you touched.

Well, phooey!! My thoughts are with the family. Tom and Kristina, Tom's Mom Mary Watson, and Grandmother Virginia Chisholm were all supportive members of the Pacific Beach Historical Society. I'll think of Kristina every time I see the Watson Palms on Felspar.
