I never knew Lisa personally, but seen her around school and with her in some classes in the good old days. I have learned many 87 classmates passed away from visiting classreport.org, and now Lisa, very very sad; RIP Lisa.
I have stopped by school a few times, our eldest son is a Senior this year there. So much memories with this school. "Mr. Vlassis Way" cuts thru the grassy area in front of the library...so cool. Marauders signs everywhere!
Mr. Vlassis, I have asked some of the current teachers and counselors in MMHS, some still remember you, they asked about you. I saw your comment in here, you must still be around enjoying your retirement in San Diego. Good health Sir.

My heart and prayers goes out to the Carini/Gonzalez family. I've known Lisa from Mira Mesa High school and later in life she was my neighbor it was a pleasure knowing her. She has a very close family and she always had a warm heart and beautiful smile.Lisa will be missed

I did not know Ms.Lisa very well, personally. But a good friend of my mom's is a good friend of mine. I wish I knew her more though, as I have only ever heard amazing things about her. She was a beautiful woman who was so strong and full of light. She is truly an inspiration. My heart is with her family during this time, and always.

Lisa will always be my loving, bold, sweet, sassy and strong role model. Our lives kept intersecting starting with our Dads playing softball together and her mom cutting our hair. She actually was our babysitter a couple times for myself and my 3 younger siblings even though she was only 3 years older than me. Our girls played soccer on the same team and we shared a parenting style. I miss our walk and talks and midnight texting. She now joins my husband in heaven and I'm sure they are both watching over us all. My love and prayers for peace and healing for Lisa's spectacular family.
