Lorna,
What do I say you left me and I miss you like I have never missed anybody in by life. You are my swim buddy, my friend, my sister and confidant let alone my relief.
You have grown so much a part of my everyday life that I feel lost without you. I have Curt and the rest of the family and my group of friends and yours but the sun doesn't shine as bright, the moon's not as pretty. I read a funny email and think of forwarding to you. THIS IS HARD. But I wanted to share the good stuff, your extended family and friends at Kaiser are Great Amy is a doll you were right. Your Rock and Roll family is wonderful and I know you had to be at the Casbah in spriit for your tribute listening to your friends chant your name broke my heart but gave me much pride in being your sister. The mortuary was hard but Adair was funny and heartfelt you were right to put us together as friends, Sooty is also lost but she was able to talk which was cool. The Farage's well they are your Seatle family and they were another bright light on the most darkest day. I just wanted to talk to you and your not here but wanted to share some of these thoughts with you. I am so Happy I know every night that you knew how much I loved you, respected you and was so proud to call you my friend and Sister. I LOVE YOU FOREVER! Can

Dear Candace and Family,
I attended Lorna's "Celebration of Life" today and when I left there today I was inspired. The stories that were told, the memories that were made and the peoples lives that she touched along the way inspire me to live life to it's fulllest. Clearly Lorna did do just that. I feel that there is so much hurt and pain in the hearts of everyone that knows and loves Lorna BUT then I also feel that because she lived such a fulfilled life by being the best that she could be and by giving all of her friends and family her time and devotion that all of you can find peace in just that. I wish all of you my deepest sympathy and though no words can take away the pain I hope your fond memories of Lorna is where you find peace.

I am really not sure what to say here except that when I got a call from my dad on Thanksgiving Day in Chicago saying to say a prayer for your family I held my breath and then sat in shock holding my tears. I listened to my dad break down and cry as he told me what just happened to you. I couldn't believe that God would take you away from my dad so soon, when he had finally found the love of his life and was so happy words couldn't explain it.
When he had talked about you before coming out I couldn't wait to meet and welcome you into my family because I knew how deeply my dad loved you. Once I met you I knew the real reason he moved out here and I was okay that it wasn't just for me. I only wish I could have gotten to know you better and seen you and my dad grow old together, but one day you will see each other again. I wish you well up in heaven with all the other angels. Dear Dad I wish I could be there for you during this time...Dear Lorna's Family I met Lorna the night before her and my Dad drove across the country to be together...I wish I would have had the chance to get to know her more...but from what I'm reading everywhere, it seems I am blessed to have had even that one night with her, she really seems like an incredible women. To Lorna's family,
I met Lorna a few times through Candace's get togethers and always enjoyed talking to her. She made you feel comfortable. She had such great stories. I was so shocked and saddened to hear about this. My thoughts go to her family and friends during this time.

What a shock it was to see Lorna's beautifu face in the paper this morning! I am so sad to hear this news. I knew Lorna all through jr. high and high school. I still have the picture of our group of girls in the quad at Granite Hills. My family was also in the desert riding quads for Thanksgving. This is just another reminder of how precious life is and it can change in seconds. My thoughts and prayers are with Lorna's family during this sad time.
