Mark Steven Kyllo

Mark Steven Kyllo SAN DIEGO -- San Diego resident, Mark Steven Kyllo, was killed in a vehicle accident on July 26, 2015. Mark grew up in Bismarck, ND. He earned a degree in Civil Engineering and had a successful career in the Environmental clean-up field for 30 years. Mark was a natural athlete who played many sports and his favorite sports team was the Minnesota Vikings. He loved to travel and lived a life of adventure. He climbed mountains around the world including the highest mountains on four continents. Mark was an extraordinary man with a kind hearted spirit. Mark lit up a room with his amazing smile. He was a smart businessman and a leader that all who met him wanted to be around him. He made us laugh. He made each friend feel as if they were his best friend. Mark was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend who brought so much joy to each of our lives. He spent quality time with his loved ones whether throwing a football with his son, or camping and hiking with his daughter. He let each of us know how much he loved us. Mark will be in our heart and soul forever. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; his children, Sheylyn and Brendon; his Godson, Stephen Tafoya; his parents, Bernie and Frances Kyllo; his siblings, Bruce Kyllo, Kathy Goetz, Wanda Powell, and Becky Denning; and his extended Duran family. We love you, Mark Kyllo! God has a new angel climbing mountains in heaven.
