Learning of your loss reminds us of all the good times we spent at the Muni Pool, and Swim team, mutual friends from North Park, and Mission Hills. My old friend Dennis and not to mention the laughs I had with the Patriarch of the family, Jerome O'Connor while working construction on his Hotel in downtown San Diego. Thanks for all the special memories you left all of us Pat. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

I had the privelege of meeting Pat O'Conner in Julian thru Kirby, and ended up getting to work for him at his place in Julian, and then also in San Diego after that. I actually looked forward to going to work. He would buy us breakfast, and then many times he would buy us a health drink at the juice bar. Over the years he was not just a guy I worked for but a dear friend, and I know my work buddies felt the same. I feel priveleged and blessed to have known him,I will miss him greatly. Best wishes and condolonces to his family

Met Pat at Kelly's pub in Old town, everyone in his family starting with pop and mom, gave their all to making us a better community with public service. Maureen's service on the Council, and as Mayor, served us well; she at 25, beating me at 27. Legacy we cherish.
