Patrick was like an older brother to me. We met through my dad, who suggested that Patrick contact me about guitar lessons when his daughter began to show interest. Meeting him felt like reuniting with a friend I´d known for years- we bonded over music and quoting movies, and despite being 12 years apart, we could share similar stories from our times as students at Torrey Pines High and as grocery baggers at the Del Mar Vons. I´d see him on a weekly basis when he´d bring Abby to my studio for her lesson. The hour I got to spend with them each week was never enough. Through Abby´s lessons alone, I could see how much Patrick adored his daughter, and how proud she made him. He was a loving father, a generous friend and a truly kindhearted individual. I miss him very much.

Dear Kevin and Karen,
What a beautiful obituary for a very special son. He did so much for others and will be greatly missed by all. His family will always continue to celebrate his life which was filled with so many positive endeavors and love for his family. Please accept my sincerest condolences and prayers. I am away visiting with our grandchildren and cannot be at the Celebration of Life, but you will be in my heart and mind on that day.
