R.A. Walker Obituary

WALKER, R.A. March 29, 1926 to Nov. 28, 2006 R.A. was born in Elmo, Kentucky to John Thomas and Linnie (Vaughn) Walker. He was the youngest of nine children. At 22 he married Paula Love and together they had five children. For 30 years he worked very hard as an Ironworker to provide for his family, and his career in Iron led two sons and several grandsons to follow in his footsteps. R.A. accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour when he was 67. He loved his Saviour and his family with all of his heart. R.A. enjoyed traveling this great country while hunting, panning for gold, and fishing in Mammoth and the El Centro canals. His wife Paula is a great cook and he enjoyed her cooking immensely. R.A. is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Paula; his five children Robert Walker (spouse Vicky), Rebecca Sansavera (spouse Tony), Robin Walker, Ricky Walker (spouse Lou), and Risa Stautz; his 12 grandchildren and his 15 great- grandchildren. As his family continues to grow and miss R.A. (dad/grandpa/great-great) we know that right now he is in God's presence praising and glorifying Him for His Greatness! Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 6th at 4 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of Alpine, 2267 W. Victoria Dr., Alpine, CA 91901.
