Richard Henry "Dickie" Beswick

Richard Beswick Obituary

BESWICK RICHARD HENRY "DICKIE" Richard Henry Beswick "Dickie" passed away peacefully on November 6, 2002. Born in April 1925, he was a fourth generation San Diegan. Richard served in WWII as a Seabee for the Navy and after his discharge in 1946 he returned to San Diego to work at Moorsteens Furniture Co. with his uncles until the business was sold. He then started his own business as a cabinet maker. Richard enjoyed his retirement years doing woodwork for family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his son, Richard Jr., and two daughters, Janice and Geralyn; stepson George; eight grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Brian, Jaime, Amber, Richard III, Jessica and Gianna; five great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Oasis Christian Fellowship, 2501 Judson St. SD 92111.
