May the God of all comfort never leave your side as you mourn the loss of your loved one (Psalms 119:76).

A precious story from Auntie Marilyn: I know there will be lots of good stories shared and I'd like to include one of my own: When Dick was dating Mignon I guess I was about 10 years old. He knew I had a favorite doll and for Xmas that year he surprised me with a high chair for that doll. I can visualize it perfectly even today. It was wood and the seat and back were covered in blue and white vinyl. I thought it was the greatest thing ever, but I wouldn't tell Dick that. You see, I was very angry with him because he was talking my sister away from me, so I didn't see how I could possibly like him. Of course, that all changed and I wish I could hug him today and tell him what a special moment that was for me and I had actually prayed for a high chair for my doll that year, but was sure I wouldn't get it. I had never told my family of that wish, because I thought it was too much to ask for. So Dick - Rest In Peace and know how many lives you have touched. You will never be forgotten and I'm glad you're finally with my sister again for all eternity.
Love from your ungrateful (then) sister-in-law and (now) grateful sister-in-law and husband, Marilyn and Tonie
Oh, by the way- his nickname for me my whole life was "Slim." I hated it because I hated being so skinny, but I'm OK with it now. I know he'll be relieved to hear that!

Dick was a wonderful brother-in-law. And was loved by all of our family.
Dick will be missed.
