William Bogue Obituary

Bogue, William 01/15/1920 ~ 10/21/2014 SPRING VALLEY -- Bill passed away in his sleep last Tuesday morning. He was 94. A Florida native, he served 20 years in the Navy during WWII and Korea, surviving the sinking of his ship off Guadalcanal in 1942. He married the love of his life, Martha Lehman, in 1946 before moving to Coronado, then Chula Vista, to raise their family. He was active at Bay View Baptist, then Jamul Community Church. He is survived by his son Robert, four grandchildren, and several great- grandchildren. His wife, and daughter Margene, predeceased him. Services: Funeral and Burial at Glen Abbey on Thursday; Memorial Service at Jamul Community Church on Saturday.
