Alfred Silva Obituary
Al was born and raised in Morro Bay and resided in Atascadero.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sheril; four children Troy (Denay) with twin grandchildren Trae and Ava; Matt (Erin) with three grandkids Kaitlyn, Elijah and Colin, and one on the way; his youngest son, Travis; and daughter, Krissy (Roy) Arnold.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the Atascadero Bible Church, 6225 Atascadero Mall in Atascadero.

It's been over 10 years since I last played ball with Al...I was certainly shocked to read that Al, the power hitter, had passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. Maybe he can chat up in heaven with some of the greats of the game like Lou Gehrig, Jimmy Foxx and the rest.
