I was curious where a few of my friends from Georgetown, with whom I lost touch, had ended up. I've been depressed since coming across this, as I was actually looking to get back in touch with you man, I know we went our separate ways over the years, but you were one of the few truly good people I have been fortunate enough to befriend over the years, and whilst you will always be remembered for that quick smile, I remember most the long, meaningful conversations we used to have. I miss you man, and my heart goes out to your family and friends new and old.

I met Brian in Washington, DC in 2000 and was around during his move from DC to NYC; however, we eventually lost touch. After moving to NYC myself, I'd thought about Brian from time to time and wondered if he was still in NYC. A matter of circumstance prompted me to search for him on the internet today and I am shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Ann: I was really sorry to hear about Brian. Unless there is another Brian Reeves you might like to know that someone named Brian Reeves was a Mensan as am I, and in the February edition of the "Mensa Bulletin", that person posted the following Facebook "Shout Out !" : "Meeting or being 'up close and personal' with four U.S. Presidents : John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush." If it was your Brian, this is further evidence of what a fullfiiling life he had. If is was a different Brian Reeves, I apologize for the confusion. Michael Krout ([email protected])

Ann and Jennny,
I had the privelege of being Brian's roommate at Georgetown for 3 years. I also drove cross-country with him coming back from school one year. Unfortunatley we lost touch after graduation and I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. We had actually traded emails maybe a month or two before he passed after 12 years of being out of contact. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this difficult time. Brian truly was an amazing person.

Ann & Jenny- It is bittersweet to have met you two lovely, intelligent, amazing women while bidding farewell to Brian. It is apparent where he gained his wonderful traits, including his sense of humor and mirth.... Would you believe Brian appeared in a dream I had last month-- He was in an amusement park.
with much affection,
James

Brian, we only hung out a few times, but spending more time with you was on my 2013 list. The last time I saw you, you walked me home, we laughed at a huge disco ball laying in the middle of the sidewalk, and you made sure that I got into my building safely. I'm so sad that you were my neighbor for years and I didn't even realize it. Keep things amazing wherever you are my friend. You are missed terribly.
