Daniel Carranza Obituary

Daniel Carranza Jr., 16, of Arroyo Grande, died Wednesday, June 23, 2004.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at the Arroyo Grande Cemetery. Pastor Jared Hoover of the First Assembly of God in Arroyo Grande will officiate.

Daniel was born Nov. 18, 1987. He was a 4th-generation Arroyo Grande resident who loved surfing.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel Sr. and Deanna; siblings, Lyle, Hailey, Dylan, Cody and Josh; grandparents, Gil and Ginger Carranza and Leon and Vida Holloway; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Daniel was preceded in death by many family members, among which was his great-grandmother, Dora Carranza.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund that has been established in his name at any Mid-State Bank.
