Daniel Carranza Obituary
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at the Arroyo Grande Cemetery. Pastor Jared Hoover of the First Assembly of God in Arroyo Grande will officiate.
Daniel was born Nov. 18, 1987. He was a 4th-generation Arroyo Grande resident who loved surfing.
He is survived by his parents, Daniel Sr. and Deanna; siblings, Lyle, Hailey, Dylan, Cody and Josh; grandparents, Gil and Ginger Carranza and Leon and Vida Holloway; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Daniel was preceded in death by many family members, among which was his great-grandmother, Dora Carranza.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund that has been established in his name at any Mid-State Bank.

We cannot even begin to imagine your suffering and sadness, but our hearts stand beside you, waiting with ears to listen and arms to hold you as you cry. One of the most precious gifts in the world is the day a grandmother becomes a grandmother for the 1st time. On 11-18-1987 That happen to me, Daniel Raymond Carranza became the "Lite Of My Life" . May Gods grace and strength be with Daniels family, I am truly sorry for your loss. Although I had only met him a few times, I knew his family including his brothers Cody and Josh. I offer my sincere sympathy and condolences from here in Texas. God Bless.
