Shocked to hear of Doug's passing. I went with his family to Carlsbad Beach when we were in 9th grade or so. We remained friends through high school. He sent me some of Josh's photographs of surfing. I miss him and the fun times we had together surfing. Brooks Burr

Doug and I went to Rosemont and CV together but it was at Rosemont that we were the closest. We played in an umpah band together and once hitch hiked toSanta Monica and back fro La Canada. So sorry for you loss -great friend.

Sorry to hear about Doug passing. I was a friend in high school and we traveled together after I got out of the service. I had no idea what happened to him. I know he lived in San Jose area. He was fun to be with. I live in Scotts Valley a short distance away.
