Everett Painter Obituary

Everett Painter Everett Roy Painter, 93, of Paso Robles passed away peacefully at home, Monday, September 21, 2015. He was a WWII veteran and served in the U.S. Navy as an Electrician's Mate, First Class on the U.S.S. Gherardi from 1942-1945. After discharge he worked in the retail grocery industry for many years until he retired. During his life Everett enjoyed several sports including softball, dirt bike racing, golf, hunting, skiing and running in marathons. After he retired he enjoyed traveling worldwide with his companion Eva. He is preceded in death by his wife Udelle Painter; sons Robert Painter and Steve Painter; grandson Troy Painter; and his parents, brothers and sisters. Everett is survived by his long time companion Eva Sandy; two sons David Painter and Tim Painter; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless close relatives and friends. Graveside services were held on Monday, September 28, 2015, at the Pajaro Valley Memorial Park in Watsonville, California. A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, October 17, 2015, at the Quail Run Community Center in Paso Robles. Sign his guestbook at sanluisobispo.com/obituaries
