Michael Jeffers Obituary

Michael Jeffers
March 7, 1967 - February 24, 2022
TEMPLETON, California - Beloved father, brother, Uncle, and friend Michael Shane Jeffers passed away at his home in Templeton, CA on February 24, 2022.
He leaves behind his two children, Jackson and Emma, whom he loved with pure adoration and admiration. As well as his sisters Rebecca, Rachel, Leah, and Sarah; his nieces Molly, Celine, Candice, and Justice; his nephews Michael, Preston, Madison, and Frankie; his children's mother Joanna Satou; and his kitten Potion.
Michael brought to the world a mischievous sense of humor, an endearing rebellious spirit, and an incredibly infectious belly laugh. His children were the most important thing in the world to him, and he found joy in being able to instill in them a love of sports that mirrored his own. He would rather watch young Jackson play t-ball or little Emma play basketball than watch the Red Sox beat the Yankees — and that is saying something.
Although Michael made his living by way of his successful painting business, he regarded fatherhood as his number one job. It cannot be emphasized enough how much he not simply loved his children, but actively and enthusiastically embraced raising them alongside Joanna, who remained his close family and co-parent throughout the years.
Michael would have turned 55 on March 7, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Templeton Youth Sports Programs. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5th at 2pm, at the home of Dan and Rachel Ryan. 486 Venice Road, Templeton CA 93465.

Funny, engaging, affectionate, accepting/tolerant, hard working, generous, fatherly.

You were a wonderful father to Jackson and Emma. Your children loved you to pieces, the way that you loved them. Send us some more butterflies

Mikey,
This is just so unbelievable, feels like a bad dream. I´ve spent the past several days thinking of all the great times over the past 45 years we´ve known each other. From riding skateboards as kids, playing sports, and the many nights we did nothing else but drive, listen to music and laugh.
It´s hard to believe, just a few weeks ago we were watching football and eating pizza. My mind is numb, I just don´t know what else to say.
Mikey you ended every one of our phone calls with, love ya Marky, so I´ll end with, love ya Mikey, I´m going to miss you.

Love this beautiful description of Mike!

Mike always made me laugh with his funny sense of humor. We had the best conversations always trying to out do each other.

You will be missed my dear friend.

My prayers go out to his beloved children and family.
