Nipomo, California - Richard Lovato, a computer engineer, talented musician, and life-long resident of the Beautiful Central Coast has passed away unexpectedly on December 05, 2020 .
Richard is survived by his loving mother, Luci Licon/Lovato; his beautiful children, Nikolas, Cheyenne and Riley; brothers Frankie and Anthony (Sister-in-law Joanna), his Sisters Raelynda and Cynthia. He is predeceased by his Father Frank Tacadena, and his grandmother, Lila Foster.
Richard was born in Santa Barbara on September 14th, 1965 to Frank Tackadena and Luci Lovato. He graduated from Arroyo Grande High school. He continued on to study computer networking while working as a Microsoft systems engineer and computer programmer. His family and faith were the top priorities in his life.
Richard was a devoted father and avid snowboarder. His deep passion for music and adventurous spirit had him always willing to take a trip to enjoy great music with great people. As a professional guitarist he often graced local venues and was known as a skilled and intuitive musician among his peers and avid listeners. Richard was always willing to lend a hand to complete tasks. He was also there for anyone who needed him with a patient ear and open heart. He was a deeply spiritual man, having accepted our Lord Jesus Christ. He will be profoundly missed by his friends, family, and all who have been fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.

Which you was a really good guy and always had an open ear for anyone who needed it and would sit down and listen to someone's problem and try to help them with a simple solution. Richie got me into snowboarding many many years ago and it stuck with me since and now that he's gone I will think about him and remember him whenever I'm snowboarding or the topic arises and remembrance of him.

I am so sad to hear this news. Richie was such a really nice guy. We went to high school together. I'd run into him around town every now and again and he always had a huge smile and big hug for me. Rock on my friend, rock on!!
