Arroyo Grande, California - Robert Jerome "Jerry" Noack Jr passed away in his Arroyo Grande home on 11-24-2021 of congestive heart failure.
He was born in June of 1958 at Ft. Lewis Army Base in Tacoma, Wa. His parents Robert J. Noack & Loveta Abercrombie preceded him in death.
In his 63 years he had lived in many places. 10 years ago he landed in a home at Vagabond MHP. He valued the sense of community he found there. He was known in the park as a man you could ask for help with any project & who would do everything he could to get it done Most all had an entertaining story about him Told with a genuine smile & a chuckle behind the words. His uncle introduced him to working on & driving fast, loud cars. This grew into a lifelong passion. His circle of friends came from all walks of life and he enjoyed discussing & debating an amazingly wide range of topics with them. Jerry was keenly intelligent with a quick wit. His logic could be maddening at times, but in my experience more often than not he was right. If you were a friend he'd do most anything for you. If you were a stranger who acted decently, it was the same. He has literally helped 100's (quite possibly 1000's) of people on the side of the road, parking lot, & even in front of their house - get going again. If your hood was up, he was going to ask if you'd like a hand. His big heart & the many random acts of kindness are the best of the legacy he leaves behind. Jerry lived life on his terms. Despite the cliché, he was truly one of a kind. Constantly surprising you with a unique perspective that cuts right to the heart of things. He will be missed by his family & the many friends that he leaves behind. In his memory, I ask that if you see someone who needs a hand - and you can help – do. Planning for a celebration of his life is underway with date/time tbd soon.
