Todd Redd Obituary

Todd Redd Todd Jeffrey Redd was born in March, 1981 to Scott Redd and Christie Redd Coyes in Sun Valley, Idaho and left the earth February 13, 2015 in San Luis Obispo. He had resided in San Luis since 1986, leaving only for a brief time to live in Washington. Since he was born the day before Saint Patrick's Day his mother thought of him as her "lucky charm." His nickname was "Todd the man." As a small child he was asked his name and replied "Todd-da-man." He loved playing softball, taught himself how to swim, and loved to ski, snowboard, surf, skateboard and fish. He had a real love of nature. As a young adult he got to work beside his father learning construction skills which led him to pursue a career in the electrical contractor field. Todd flashed a winning smile, had an infectious laugh and had a million dollars worth of charm. He was always the first to extend a hand when meeting someone and always looked you in the eye when talking with you. He was caring, loving, sensitive and gentle. He loved animals especially his dog, Lilly, and had rescued a special needs schnauzer he named Susie. Todd leaves behind his father, Scott (wife Jeanne); mother, Christie (husband Mike); sister, Lacey Redd and many, many, many friends. Once you were a friend of Todd's, you were a friend forever. "Rest in peace Todd, you will remain in our hearts forever!" Memorial Services will be held February 20, at 2:00pm at Reis Memorial Chapel in San Luis Obispo. Scott & Christie
While the loss of a child is never easy, even when anticipated, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. Your recent loss of Todd who has left us at such a youthful age is definitely in the category of those hard losses for which there is so painful a reminder of what might have been.

We offer our sincere condolence and deepest sympathy on your loss.

We ask for God's blessings on you and your wonderful family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence and in knowing that his was a life well-lived.

Yours In Peace,
Willy & Philomena

I had the privilege to briefly chat with Todd very recently. We both recognized each other from 50ft away in the blinding sun after not having seen one another since High School 17+ years prior.

Great smile. So kind. Never passed judgment. I first met Todd when we were both 12 years old. I was the new kid in school and we both happened to have moms that worked for the newspaper. He helped me feel like everything was going to be okay. We stayed acquaintances throughout school, but we could talk like we were great friends. It's been many years since I've seen Todd, but he'll stick in my heart & mind forever. RIP, Sweet Todd.

I remerber you as a great little kid, a bit of a handful and as cute as a bug. You were one of my sons best friend and seemed to be his second hand as you were both into everything together. I only wish the two of you had had more tome together as uncontrolable issues split you up. How I wish we were able to spend some more time with you and wish we had connected while you were still here. sadly and happly you will always be in our hearts an thoughts. Happly because you were in our lives, even for a short time. Sadly because it was a very short time. I told your Mom today your energy will always be with her as that like love will never die. Just as her love for you will always live forever. Thank You for being a part of ours. Your friends, The Gormans!
