Joshua Crabtree Obituary

Joshua Glen Crabtree, beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, departed this world on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and humor. Born on December 29, 1990, in San Marcos, TX, Josh grew to be a thoughtful man who was always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand.

Josh had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor that could light up any room. His sharp wit and perfectly timed jabs had everyone laughing, even in the most awkward moments. But there was so much more to him than just the jokes-he had a big, caring heart. His incredible intelligence was matched by his kindness, making him someone people were truly lucky to have in their lives. Josh gave the kind of hugs that felt like coming home. We will miss him more than words can ever express.

Josh dedicated several years of his life to serving as the warehouse manager at A-Z Office Resource, where he became a trusted and reliable figure within the company. His professional journey allowed him to reflect his dedication and strong work ethic, traits mirrored in his personal life as well.

He is survived by his devoted father and stepmother, Glen and Susan Crabtree; his loving mother and stepfather, Cindy and David Reyna; as well as his siblings: Jon Matthew Rodriguez (Eve), Jamie Michelle Kelley, Ashley Rose Ewing (Scott), Jade Alexandrhea Donaghe (Cody), and Glenmore Arnold Crabtree (Emma Haugle). The familial bonds he cultivated extend to his nieces and nephews-JJ, JoJo, Kinzie, Cole, Paxton, Luka, Maddie, Nolan, and Jordynn-each of whom held a special place in his heart. He also leaves behind his cherished grandparents, Lydia Rodriguez, and Cruz and Irene Jaimes, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry his memory forward. The bond he formed with his rabbits, Itzel and Rocko, exemplified the love he showed to every creature and person alike. The family is also grateful for the friend Josh had in Bill Black of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Helen Crabtree, and Ignacio Rodriguez.

Tragically, Josh's life was cut short due to complications from Factor V Leiden, a genetic disorder that increased his risk of abnormal blood clots. Memorial contributions in Josh's memory may be made to the National Blood Clot Alliance. www.stoptheclot.org
