Bill was one of the first people I met when I started work at S.C.Co Probation. He was a kind and gentle man. Always available to talk and offer advice. Vaya con Dios Amigo..

Bill and I were classmates in high school. He was an outstanding student leader in every way. I was privileged to reunite with him after 50 years and appreciate much the talks we shared in recent years.
He loved his family.

I am so very saddened to hear of our loss. Sweet and funny Billy Best and one of our brightest stars at Bel Air High School. Johnny was my sweetheart but Billy always behind the scenes with humor, sarcasm, compliments and always so very warm. Our last visit in El Paso is memorable. It was wonderful hearing about his boys and glowed when speaking of them. My heart hurts but with a smile on my face remembering the many memories.

Bill was a friend to all. He was genuine in his caring with a wonderful sense of humor. He made his life meaningful with his passions and commitments.
It was an honor to know him. A great example to his boys and all of us.

I knew Bill when he was a Probation Officer at Juvenile Hall and I was an A.D.A. doing cases there. He was a gem. We had great talks about the Juvenile Court System, the kids in the Hall, and his family. Bill was a great guy and will be missed by many. My condolences to his family.
