Carolina Medeiros Obituary
Carolina Medeiros passed away at her Aptos home on Tuesday May 20, 2008. She was 88 years old.
She is survived by her son Abel Medeiros of San Mateo and daughter, Cristina Locke of Aptos. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, her sister, Maria Lourdes of Chino and numerous nieces and nephews in San Joaquin Valley, Santa Clara, Fall River and Chino.
A native of San Miguel, Azore Islands, she immigrated to the US in 1966 to Los Banos and moved to San Mateo in 1968 after her husband Antonio died. For Carolina, her family was most important, and she enjoyed helping raise her grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Santa Cruz Memorial Mission Chapel, 1927 Ocean Street Ext., Santa Cruz, CA 95060 on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. with Fr. Albert Mengon of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Watsonville, officiating. Graveside committal services will follow at Santa Cruz Memorial. Family and friends are invited to a reception at the Bayview Hotel in Aptos. All arrangements entrusted to the care of Santa Cruz Memorial - Oakwood Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz, CA 96065.
