David Chase Obituary

David Alan Chase
Nov. 22, 1950 - Jan. 6, 2022
Aptos, California
David Chase passed away unexpectedly on Jan 6, 2022, at his home in Aptos. David lived an amazing life as a hair colorist-extraordinaire in Beverly Hills, Los Altos, San Francisco, Palm Springs and ultimately Aptos. He did Priscilla Presley's highlights when she was on the hit TV show, Dallas, and worked with many other celebrities throughout his long and illustrious career. While sitting in his chair, David regaled patrons with stories of hobnobbing with the rich and famous. He had impeccable taste, high-style, a brilliant wit, and a gentle heart. David had a knack for making people feel like he was their confidante, truly saw them and he had a wide circle of devoted friends. David was deeply loved and is now deeply missed. David is survived by his sisters, Val Tapia (Alvin), Vance Landis-Carey (Robert), Erin Samples (Dwyane), Adrienne David (Pablo), Gabrielle McGraw (Scott) and Andrea Mellard (Jason), as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Donations may be made in David's honor to the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
