I'm so sorry to hear about Ellen. I remember all of our family visits to Capitola and Santa Cruz visiting with Ellen & Mogens. Wonderful memories! Truly a special generation. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Lisa Gunlund-Jura

Ellen was a kind lady & I am sorry she has passed. I used to wait on her at the bank where i worked. She would make her business deposits & we would talk. She was helpful to me with my hair color questions. One day I was walking along Water Street & noticed Ellen assisting one of her elderly clients in her shop. I was very touched by Ellen's courtesy & gentleness. I've thought of Ellen sometimes especially when I assisted elderly banking clients. I am retired now but just recently had thought of her & her nice smile. I will still think of you Ellen & will be grateful that I knew you. Jenny Brown
