Frank Dent Obituary
Frank G. Dent passed away at a local convalescent hospital in Watsonville Thursday, May 13, 2010. He was 90.
Mr. Dent worked as the head custodian for 18 years with the Pajaro Valley Unified School District. He was proud of his service to his country during WWII. Mr. Dent enjoyed many kinds of woodworking but especially enjoyed re-finishing furniture. He also loved to take trips to Reno.
Mr. Dent is survived by his wife, Carol Dent of Watsonville; children, David Dent of Watsonville and Suzette Dent of Capitola; half-sister, Pearl Sampaolo of Salinas and grandchildren, Mathew Dent of Reno, David Dent of Los Angeles and Lacey Dent of Watsonville; and also has his first great grandson on the way. Mr. Dent is preceded in death by his first wife of 53 years, Harriet Dent; brothers, Elmer Dent and Bud Dent; half-brother, Martin Dedic and half-sister, Alice Edwards.
Visitation will be held at Mehl's Colonial Chapel Wednesday 10:30-1 p.m. with the Chapel Blessing service to begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a favorite charity of choice.
