Gracie Jordan Hoff (Grace) unexpectedly passed away on Friday March 26th, 2021. She was 34 years old. Gracie was born in Santa Cruz, CA at Dominican Hospital and raised in Boulder Creek, CA. She graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High School, class of 2004. Gracie was a beautiful spirit who believed in love, beauty and laughter. Her life was devoted to her two beautiful daughters, nothing brought her greater joy.
Growing up, Gracie was a devoted and passionate volleyball player and was well known for her powerful serves. Along with playing volleyball herself she also spent time coaching volleyball at Santa Cruz High School with her sister Mindi. She enjoyed her time watching her nephews and nieces grow up and would always shower them with goodies and gifts. Like our mother, she found special joy in filling her home with candles and lighting them every night. Gracie was a generous and innocent soul who was greatly loved by her family and close friends and will be missed and remembered by many.
Gracie is survived by her two beautiful children, Madison Mae Carrasco and Penelope Jane Carrasco, and her high school sweetheart, Alfonso Carrasco. She leaves her father, Michael Hoff, her brothers and sisters; Mindi Cahill, Derek Cahill, Jadie Cahill, Nick Hoff, and Shane Hoff, her nieces and nephews; Jalen, Caden, Brendan, Isabella, Adelene, Conor, Jaxen, and Teigen.
Gracie was preceded in passing by her mother, Dorene Jane Dolan-Hoff, her grandparents; James Dolan, Dorothy Masters-Healey, and Harry Hoff.
A ceremony to celebrate her life will be held in the near future. You can light your own candle, as she did so many times, or plant a plant in her honor.

Gracie was one of my earliest friends growing up down the street in Boulder Creek. I remember countless tea parties we had for our stuffed animals together. As years passed, we drifted apart, aided by moves. I’m so sorry to hear of Gracie’s passing, and hoping her spirit finds peace. Sending love to her family.
