Inadell Perdita Rossmann A San Jose resident, 85 years of age, passed away in San Jose, CA. on November 30, 2005. Beloved wife of George Rossmann Jr. for 63 years. Devoted mother of Kirk Rossmann, Geordel Rossmann, Allison Daughter, and Wendy Rossmann Daughter-in-law. Cherished grandmother of Brett Rossmann and wife Lauren, Ty Rossmann and fiancé Ashley Schiller, Delayne Allison-Jennings and husband Paul. She is also survived by her cousins, brother-in-law, nieces and nephew. Inadell is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Adolf Strohmaier and Mary Alice Jones. Mrs. Rossmann worked for American Trust Bank in 1942. Also in 1942, after marrying George Rossmann Jr., together they managed the Strohmaier Distributing Co., selling Golden Glow Beer and various soda water. In 1947, Inadell and George started Carbonic Services, Inc., located on Julian Street in San Jose and developed a new branch known as American Welding Supply. The two companies eventually established separated locations on De La Cruz and Hobson.
Inadell grew up in san Jose, going to Hester Grammar School, then on to San Jose High School, and finishing at San Jose State University. She joined various Clubs including the equestrian team at San Jose High School. She was a member of the Allenians, which later became Kappa Kappa Gamma at San Jose State. Inadell met and fell in love with her husband George on blind date through the Delts Fraternity. For sixty-seven years Inadell continued her friendship with her sorority sisters by meeting for bridge once a month. They also had a wonderful group of friends through their children's SANTA CLARA SWIM CLUB. They enjoyed skiing and camping trips together as families. Inadell later became a member of Lucille Packard's Stanford Children's Hospital, where she donated her time at the "Thrift Box", a non-profit organization in Willow Glen. Their greatest joy was traveling the world with their family and friends. Inadell loved to entertain all of her friends in SANTA CRUZ at their beach house.
Inadell was given a private ceremony at Oak Hills Chapel of the Roses on Thursday, December 8, 2005. A celebration of Inadell's life was given by her family following the service.
