Jane came into our lives when she married Vic. She was the light of his life and such a beautiful soul. She had a marvelous sense of humor and saw the good in everyone. I truly loved her for her honesty.

Grandma,
I will remember your kindness, your smile, your laugh, and all love you gave out into this world.
I will strive to be a kind person just as You were every day of your life.
I miss you so much, but am happy you are no longer in pain.
Thank you for loving me, and for shaping me into the woman I am today .
I love you so much.

Jane was my big sister. We were related by love which is the best word to describe Jane. She loved many people and places and moments. She showered her love on everyone and everything except black olives. Here's more love for Jane's families and to Vic whose love surpassed us all. Thank you for sharing her with us. Jenny

My dear mother, if you hear me now, I am missing you so much! What I love about you the most is that you lived your life as your authentic self, even if (and especially when) it didn't fit a group norm that didn't make you happy. This way of being you had a joyful, courage-invoking effect on those of us who were blessed to orbit your bright, beautiful, loving soul.
--Forever yours, daughter Cathy

Vic & family. It was with great sadness that I read tonight of Jane's passing. I know she was the light of your life & that of her children, grandchildren, great grandcildren & all that knew her. I am glad I got to meet her all those many years ago I know that all of you will continue to celebrate her life every day. Peace and love to you & your family. We'll talk soon. All my love. . Doreen

Jane was just a kind and lovely person. I worked at the city and saw her often. It was always a pleasure to talk with her. She had a great sense of humor and an essence of being forever young. You were a lucky family to have her.

Vic, you know you can call me anytime, I'm always there for you! When I saw your number pop up on the tv screen, I knew, Jane became an angel to you and to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren everyone gained a special guardian angel! Through the many letters we've shared over 30 plus years, I feel as if I grew up with them! If you remember I was so happy when you told me you and Jane were getting married, the day after my birthday! That's how I remembered it all these years! When you came back to New York to visit, Dotte and I threw you the party in Peekskill, it was a wonderful evening! And then there was the time we celebrated Jane's birthday in Donor Services at the "Knoll"! She was so surprised! One of the best memories is when your brought her mom (who was in the wheel chair) and Becca was little, Claire got out of the wheel chair and you were pushing Becca around the flower circle in front of the seminary, remember? Becca and her hit it off, they became pen pals for a while! I'm glad that I sent the baklava for your birthday, you both love it, and you got to enjoy it for a month! Don't forget, anytime you need to talk, just pick up the phone and call, I've been where you are now going on 5 years this September! Remember to look for the Cardinals, when they are around, so are angels! Love you all ~ Geri (and Becca)
