Jeremy Holmes Obituary
Jeremy C. Holmes, age 21, passed away on July 9th, 2009 from cancer.
He was born and raised in Santa Cruz. He attended Green Acres Elementary, graduated from Shoreline Middle School in 2004 and Soquel High School in 2006. He also attended Cabrillo College, and had a ROP Carpentry degree.
Jeremy loved music and went to many concerts. He was an accomplished artist using many mediums to create art. Jeremy loved random movies and random music. He also loved hockey, the Oakland A's and loved a good debate. He also attended Twin Lakes Church.
His father Tracy Holmes preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother Debbie Holmes and brother Mikey Holmes, both of Soquel and grandfather Raymond Leos of Texas.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday, July 19th at 2 pm at Twin Lakes Church in Aptos.
Donations can be made to the Jeremy Holmes Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1223, Soquel, CA 95073.

We have been lucky enough to have known Jeremy and his family since the Green Acres and Live Oak Little League days, and over the subsequent years, Jeremy and our son Mike became as close as brothers.
Jeremy will never be forgotten. He possessed a wit and wisdom far surpassing his too short life. We will all miss him so very much!!

Jeremy was my first overnight baby. He was a joy to me that night, and continued to be a joy to all, the next 21 years. He will be missed by more people than most people even know. My Love, and continuous prayers, go to Debbie, and Mikey.

Jeremy was so awesome..I remember he came by my place really late one night when I really needed him. He had the talent of all the great artists all rolled into one person. He will be missed and we smile when we think of him.

I didn't know Jeremy all that well, but he was the most wonderful friend to my nephew Jeff. He will be remembered and missed. God has taken him home.
