John Buenrostro Obituary

John passed away with his family at his side following a long battle with cancer. He was a loving, devoted husband and father, a caring son and brother, and a tenaciously loyal friend.
Inquisitive, brilliant and passionate. John's interests encompassed music, gardening, politics and cooking -- his lasagna was never surpassed! Big John's popular and eclectic radio show, Pushing Up Daisies, aired on KZSC for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Erin; daughter Susanna Rose; adult children Joshua and Amber; siblings Paul, Olivia, Peter and Matthew and their spouses; nephews and nieces; aunts, uncles and cousins; beloved dogs Georgie and Fezzik; and his magnificent garden.
Your departure leaves us with an aching gap in our lives, Little Yonny.
We will always love you.

I knew John and Erin when I worked at Westside Video in the 90's. Two of my favorite customers. I would enjoy seeing Johns smiling face each week. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.
