John Pascoe Obituary

John Pascoe
Jul 2, 1944 – Aug 30, 2015
Santa Cruz
John William Pascoe passed away unexpectedly at the age of 71 on August 30 at his home in Santa Cruz, California. Born in the UK to Captain William and Mrs. Patricia Pascoe, John, is survived by his loving wife Christine Pascoe, daughter Dianne Pascoe, and sister Jackie Pascoe. John lived for many years in Australia where he served as captain in the merchant marine. On immigrating to America, John found work in the oil industry, inspecting and relocating oil rigs around the world. An avid yachtsman, John will be remembered for his loving personality and light-hearted good humor, as well as the amazingly detailed remote control planes he enjoyed building and flying at Sky Park in Scotts Valley. Private services will be held. Contributions may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (https://donate.lbda.org).

I miss you everyday, it's been 6 years and those 6 years have been pretty empty. You were my best friend, if anyone had a soulmate I think I could count you as mine. I am so lonely without you. Everyday I get up I go through the motions of life, I fall asleep at night dreaming of you. I miss you my love.

Although it is many years since I have seen him, we were together many times as Children - first cousins. I can still remember his sense of fun and humour. Us Pascoes have always travelled the world and have always thought of it as a small place. He is the last of the Captain Pascoes following on a great seafaring tradition. I send my condolences to Christine, Dianne and the other Jackie.
