Resident of Santa Cruz
Mike Rowe passed on September 29, 2015. Many remember him in the community as the owner of Ace Appliance for the past 39 years. He had a true passion for repairing and re-storing antique stoves. He had an amazing ability to build community and was always surrounded by family and friends. He loved fishing and cherishes his time at Walker River with his childhood friends; Richard Locatelli and Russel Thomas. He was a proud and loving grandfather of 5 grandchildren; Justin, Damian, Amelia, Dominick, and Marcus. Mike is also survived by his wife, Nancy Rowe; their three daughters Sara, Heather and Renee and Son in-laws; John, Paul, and Wally. He will always be remembered for his generosity, love, and kindness. May he continue to rest in peace and happiness.

Sunday, Oct 11th 11am-3pm
Hospice was a great help to Mike and his family during his last days. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice Santa Cruz.

I have known and enjoyed Mike's company my entire life! Mike was my father's very best friend, but to call them friends really doesn't do it justice, we were family. While Mike has been gone for over a year tonight I stumbled across an old photo, I just looked at it and thought " Still doesn't seem possible that both of these lifelong buddies, have gone ahead of us AND too soon.. I will always think of Mike and I'm thankful for the years we had together, thanks to our Dad's!
