Patricia McGrath Obituary

Patricia Irene Crouse McGrath went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2011. She passed gently away with her loving family by her side.

Born in Bakersfield, California on February 6, 1934, she moved with her family to the Santa Cruz area in 1942 where she lived until she moved to Salinas as a young adult in the late 1950's. She relocated to Reno, Nevada in 1980.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack McGrath, and parents Calvin and Mahala Deakin Crouse. She is survived by her daughters, Tena Geren of Reno, and Melissa Corda, granddaughter Christal Sexton and great grandson Isaiah of Salinas. She is also survived by her sister Eva Esty, and brother and sister-in-law Bob and Carol Crouse of Reno. She leaves behind many dearly loved nieces and nephews.

Her family and friends will miss her beautiful smile, giving heart, and indomitable spirit. Those of us left behind lost the most precious Mother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and friend, and she will live on in our hearts forever. There will be a celebration of life memorial held in her honor on May 21, 2011, 2:00 pm, in the Club House at Donner Springs Mobile Home Village, 4465 Boca Way, Reno.
