We have lost our wonderful Patrick Mason, age 21, on November 30, 2007 in Santa Cruz.
Pat moved to Aptos from Bridgeport, California at age 10 with his mother, sister and brother. He graduated from Soquel High School and attended Cabrillo College. His passion took him to the world of music, where he worked and played hard with bandmates to live his dream of travel and playing bass.
He is survived by his amazing mother, Eileen; sister, Kitt; brother, Ethan; and grandparents, John and Patricia Jones of Vista, as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and many fans.
We'll miss his smile, a smile big enough to light the night sky and a heart to match. Our hearts are broken, our grief is deep but we are left with wonderful memories of a passionate, creative, goofy and loving young man.
A private family memorial is being held. Condolences can be sent to 3056 Willowbrook Lane, Aptos, CA 95003. Information regarding a planned memorial concert can be found on the MySpace.com site http://www.myspace.com/agatg.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you keep Patrick in your heart and hold your loved ones close.

Words can't express how sorry we are about the sudden and unexpected passing of Patrick. It is never easy to reason or accept you can only believe that in God's hands he will be in eternal peace. We pray for Patrick and for his brothers and sister

Our hearts are broken over the loss of Patrick. We will always remember him as that sweet little boy with those smiling Irish eyes playing with his sister Kit that summer vacation up in Twain-Harte. Those were good times. God Bless You, Patrick. Forever our love, Uncle Tom & Aunt Sharon & Family XOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Pat worked with me at my first job at Aptos Pizza. He also worked for my parents for a short time. He was so nice and willing to give anyone a chance. He will be missed by all who knew him.
