Scott Corley Obituary

With heavy hearts we share with you the loss of our son, Scott. Son of Doug Corley and Barbara and Ron Yoakum; he was a 1987 graduate of Watsonville High where he quarterbacked the football team. Scott's passion was football, his favorite team being the Green Bay Packers. He continued his education at Santa Clara University, graduating in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in economics. In 1994 he married Sally Pennetta and they welcomed a daughter, Sabrina, two years later. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with an incurable disease in his late 20's and fought a brave battle the remainder of his life, seldom complaining. Despite his illness, Scott was a happy soul, well liked with many friends and always ready for a good time. We wish to thank Ave Maria Memorial Chapel for all their help. A celebration of life will be held on Dec. 8th at 11:00 at Ave Maria. Please R.S.V.P. no later than Dec. 4th to Mark Corley at 831-234-3915 or [email protected] for further details.
