Services will be Monday evening in Boulder Creek and Tuesday in Santa Clara, for Timothy Walsh, who died in an accident at his Boulder Creek home on January 20, 2014. Born in San Mateo, California, he was 52 years old. Tim moved to Boulder Creek at the age of 1, and attended local schools, graduating from San Lorenzo Valley High School in 1979.
Tim worked as a truck driver in the construction business. He will be remembered by many dear friends and fellow workers as a "GO TO GUY", because of his willingness to help out and lend a hand on automotive projects with his nephews and friends. He was an excellent mechanic, and loved to fix just about anything with a motor. His familiar face will be missed in downtown Boulder Creek, where Tim could be found on mornings at the gas station, getting his cup of coffee. His family and friends will forever remember Tim's kind heart and helping hand.
He is survived by his father, Leonard Walsh, his three sisters, Sheila Walsh, Patty Walsh, and Carolyn Walsh, all of Boulder Creek. He also leaves his two nephews Austin Sohoza and Billy Sohoza. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Walsh who died in 2010.
Friends may pay their respects at St. Michael's Catholic Church (13005 Pine Street) in Boulder Creek on Monday evening January 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. that evening. A Catholic Blessing and Committal Ceremony will be on Tuesday January 28th at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery (490 Lincoln Street) in Santa Clara, beginning at 11 a.m. If you would like to light a candle online, and share your condolences with his family, please visit www.pacificgardenschapel.com.
