FRED QUINTANA Obituary
Fred L. Quintana, a life-long resident of Espanola, New Mexico, peacefully passed on August 17, 2022 at the age of 80. Fred was born on August 4, 1942 as the fourth child of the late Fred and Amelia (Sisneros) Quintana.
Fred was the beloved and dedicated husband to Diana Quintana, with whom he shared 23 wonderful years of marriage. He was the loving father of Kenny Quintana (Beatriz), Michael Quintana (Valerie), and Elizabeth Zunshine (Phillip). He was a devoted step-father to Donna Rios (Rudy), David Lopez (Sandra), Debbie Jennings (Roy), and Diego Lopez. He is also survived by his brother, Johnny and wife Esther Quintana, 10 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Amelia, his brothers, Fred and Perry, and his step son-in-law, Rudy.
Visitation services will be on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 10 am - 11 am at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola. The funeral mass and burial will follow at 12 pm at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola.
The Quintana Family has entrusted the care of their beloved Fred to Rivera Family Funerals & Cremations of Espanola, NM.
In lieu of flowers, tax-deductible donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, https://act.alz.org.

Fred was a client for several years at an office I worked at and I loved our lengthy conversations and the stories he would tell me. I have thought of him often over the years. He was a very kind man!

I´m sorry to hear this news. My condolences to the Quintana family. I played Little League baseball with Freddie back on the early 50s. RIP.
