I AM SO SADDENED BY THE PASSING OF GOMEO, WE WENT TO RIVERSIDE TOGETHER WE BOTH GRADUATED IN 1983. WE MET AGAIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA I WAS SO THRILLED TO TALK WITH HIM. I WOULD ALWAYS ASK FOR SPECIAL PRAYERS FROM HIM. HE ALWAYS HAD NICE THINGS TO SAY THAT WOULD BE COMFORTING. I TRULEY MISS HIM ON SOCIAL MEDIA. RIP MY RIS BROTHER. YOUR ALWAYS IN MY HEART.

We met in Victorville, California while we were stationed at George AFB. He was such a kind person, and so talented. We had an instant connection because were from New Mexico. I am so sorry. I saw him many years later, and it was wonderful. Rest in peace, my friend.

Gomeo participated recently in Secrets of the Heart a program by Dream A World Education for children in underserved schools that teaches arts, culture, values and the importance of taking care of our earth. He was a blessing to all of us who were a part of this filming and I will treasure the time I spent with this dear, beautiful soul. We all send our deepest condolences to all of his family. He will live forever in our hearts and in the hearts of the children he touches.

My sincere condolences to all who loved Gomeo. He was a beautiful gentle soul who exemplified brotherly love. We meet while working at Swaia and had an instant connection. It felt like we had always known each other. The conversations we had spoken and unspoken. His words of encouragement and the way he would refer to me as Ms Lopez or Little Sister. The red velvet cupcakes and beautiful flowers he would bring me "just because" and especially the beautiful blessings that he would give. I have many fond memories I will cherish of our friendship. Your beautiful legacy will live on. Every time I hear a song by Stevie Nicks (Landslides) or see a Dragonfly I will think of you. I love you Gomeo you will be missed. Rest in the loving arms of our Savior.
Love,
Ms Lopez

David and I were lucky to be Gregory and Gomeo´s next door neighbors for two years and continued our friendship after we moved ( not too far away ) We all had a lot in common and shared almost daily conversations.
Gomeo was so beautiful inside and out. Everyone who meet him experienced his kind soft spirt. You immediately knew that he saw and acknowledged your being without a word being spoken. I loved his free floating sense of humor.
We will miss him - as will the world, whether it knows it or not.

The world will be a darker place without your light, Gomeo.
