Jeannie Wray Obituary

Jeannie (Young) Wray Age 64, passed away on March 11, 2008, following a short illness. She was surrounded by family and friends. Jeannie was born in Albuquerque on July 9, 1943. She is survived by her loving husband, James. They were married at Central United Methodist Church on December 29, 1963. She is also survived by her daughters: Leslie McBride and husband William, and Dallas Ulibarri and husband Victor; grandchildren: Max and Matilda; mother, Eloise Young; and brother, Robert Young. Jeannie had a successful interior design career in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and El Paso, TX. She enjoyed gardening, walking, and renovating houses; however, her passion was her family. She shared her love openly and continually demonstrated unselfish generosity. She adored caring for and spending time with her grandchildren. Her commitment to her family was unwavering. We are so thankful to have shared her beautiful, graceful spirit. She will be greatly missed by all those who were touched by her life. Memorial Services will be held Monday, March 17, 2008, 10 am, at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Jeannie Young Wray was one of my aunts best friends. She was wholesome and kind form what I have heard. She will always be in her hearts. My aunt will be speaking at Jeannie's funeral. Her name is Julie White.

Jeannie was a great spirit, happy, and funny!
She worked with us at Charles & David Interiors in Santa Fe for many years and loved her creativity and sense of design. We were blessed to know her, Jim and their daughters and son-in-law William. Blessings to all of you in this time of loss. We celebrate with you the life and memories we all shared of Jeannie

i never had the blessing of meeting Jeannie, but met her a bit thru her daughter Leslie...... there are no words to express our sadness at such a loss; moms mean everything to their ''little girls!'' Seems only yesterday that mine left for her Heavenly Home.... Please know that the entire family is in our prayers; praying that the Lord's loving arms will be felt by each and every one as He brings His special comfort.....
