1956 - 2024

Cheryl G. Teschner (Mimi), 68, of Santa Maria, unexpectedly passed away September 25th, 2024 due to a short but fearless battle with cancer.

Cheryl was born to Robert and Patricia Greer on May 15th, 1956, at Stanford Hospital, Menlo Park, CA. With her dad being a prestigious dentist, Cheryl quickly pursued a lifelong passion in dental hygiene graduating from Foothill and San Diego State Colleges. Soon after Cheryl met her husband Paul of 35-years. They relocated to Santa Maria where she spent the bulk of her dental career (42 years) in Nipomo, Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria acquiring many lifelong friends and patients whom she will be remembered by. One of Cheryl's highlights in life was going to frequent lunches with dental patients that turned into best friends. She adored every long conversation that came her way.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Paul, daughter Dawn (husband Chris ) grandson Jayce, daughter Devan and granddaughters Audree and Ayla. Nephews Tim and Joey Greer. Cheryl was affectionately known as "Mimi" and found exceptional comfort, pride and joy in holding this grandmother title. She lived for her grandchildren and the memories that took place in her own home "Mimi"s Place!

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Patricia Greer as well as her younger brother, Tim Greer. She also would want a mention of her past love, Dudley, whom she has reunited with on the rainbow bridge.

Cheryl loved not only the world of dentistry but also all of her family pets, volunteering at the SB Humane Society, hummingbirds, All My Children (soap opera), Queen (the band), visiting local wineries, traveling to the family summer cottage in Ellsworth, Maine, laying in her backyard, reading her books and spending time with her grandchildren. You could find Cheryl every Sunday afternoon geared up watching her favorite sports team, the San Francisco 49ers, and decorating her garden window for each holiday which now will happily be her daughter and granddaughter's duty.

A Celebration of Life for Cheryl (Mimi) is currently being arranged by immediate family and will be announced at a later date. Paul, Devan and Dawn would like to thank everyone who have reached out to remember our Cheryl.
