Jim was one of my teachers at St. Joes. I had the pleasure of being in a few of his classes. He was also coach of our tennis team! I will miss running into him, having breakfast, at some of our local restaurants. Great guy.

I had the pleasure and honor of knowing Mr. Jeffers as a student and football player at St. Joseph. A finer person has never been on this earth. I was able to talk to him years later at events and some SJHS football games. His daughter by coincidence was the real estate agent when we purchased our home. Many people are grieving, but also proud to have known James.

I have the fondest memories of my brother Jim. He was always there for me. He would haul my girlfriends and I to Leo´s with his buddy Alvin Dias. Though we were 8 years apart we shared the love of water and swimming, dancing and music. I will miss him terribly but know he is with his Heavenly Father and in a better place. Thank you all who have called and sent messages.
