We are sad to announce the passing of Scott Christopher Castillo, who died as a result of an automobile accident on his way to work at Rancho Murietta on September 24, 2022.

Scott Christopher Castillo was born December 11, 1969 in Santa Maria. He worked as a bartender and food server. He really loved his work and his customers, fellow employees and employers loved his manner and work ethic and the drinks he poured were great. He worked from Alaska to San Diego and delighted everyone in his path.

He was predeceased by his paternal grand parents Ramon and Maria Castillo of Santa Maria, California, his Uncle Ishmael Castillo who was killed in WWII, his Uncle Thomas Castillo who was killed in Vietnam, his Uncle Jesse Castillo of Santa Maria, California, his Uncle Paul Castillo of Santa Maria, California, his Uncle Steve Castillo of Boise, Idaho, his Uncle Jim Cozart of Santa Maria, California, and his Aunt Mrs. Jessie Castillo of Santa Maria, California. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Zora H. Williams of Santa Maria, California.

He is survived by his son Cody M. Castillo of Ashley, Oregon, his father John Castillo of Denver Colorado, his mother Amber F. Wells of Sutter Creek, California, his brother Matthew T. Castillo of Boise, Idaho, his Uncle Sam Castillo of San Jose, his Aunt Mary Louise Castillo of San Jose, California, his Uncle John Treinen of Santa Maria, California, his Aunt Mary Lou Treinen of Santa Maria, California, his Aunt Hope Cozart of Nipomo, California, his Aunt Olgie Castillo of Boise, Idaho and many cousins.

There will a private family memorial for Scott C. Castillo at his home in Sutter Creek, California.

There will be a celebration of Life for family/friends in Santa Maria at a later date.

To the castillo family im so sorry for your loss. Scott was my my good friend we hung out we had lunch we listen to music and we went to high school together, I had talk to him on messager a few years back but lost touch im so sorry my heart goes out to the family.. I barely seen his obituary, I had seen a friend that just died on oct. My heart just drop to see scotts name ot broke my heart... He will be always in my heart
