Hans H. Lehr

Hans H. Lehr BRISTOL, RI - Hans H. Lehr, of Bristol, Rhode Island, died on July 9, 2016. He was married to Susan Stewart Lehr for 45 years. Their children are Kristin Lehr Anderson, and husband E.J., of Barrington, Rhode Island, and Matthew Stuart Lehr, and wife Allison, of Bellevue, Washington. Their four grandchildren are Evan, Alexander, Gabriel, and Isaac. Dear friends include Geoff, Nancy, Jule, and Dan. Born in Verden an der Aller, Germany, Hans was the son of Waldemar and Katarina Lehr. Hans was raised outside of Decatur, Indiana. He resided in Saratoga Springs, NY, for 29 years, and prior to retirement was the Executive Director of Saratoga County Mental Health Services. He completed a Master of Divinity through the Lutheran Christ Seminary-Seminex in St. Louis, MO, and an MBA in Health Administration through Union College in Schenectady, NY. He and his wife retired to Bristol to be near family. His family and friends celebrate the life of Hans, dearest husband, father, grandfather (Opa), and friend. His family shared his memory in a private ceremony.
