Joseph Mulvaney Obituary

Joseph M. Mulvaney Ballston Spa - Joseph M. Mulvaney 78, of Ballston Spa, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Born in Saratoga Springs, February 9, 1934, he was the son of the late Gerrald and Edna Mulvaney. Joe was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Tufflite Plastics in Ballston Spa for many years. Joe was a member of Union Fire Co No 2 for 41 years. He was a member of the Hudson Valley Volunteer Firemen's Association, Hudson Mohawk Volunteer Firefighter's Association, and the Royal Order of the Blue Vests, serving as a delegate for many years. He was also a member of the Union Fire Co Band. Joe was a 30 year member of American Legion Post 234 of Ballston Spa. He is survived by his children, Michael Mulvaney (Joanne) of Ballston Spa, Joseph Mulvaney, Jr of Ballston Spa, Alan Mulvaney (Mary) of Phoenix, AZ, Kenneth Mulvaney (Tonya) of Phoenix, AZ and Joanne Isabella (Carmen) of Ballston Spa, his longtime companion, Leslie Robinson of Ballston Spa and her son Bryan Robinson (Kim) of Rexford, sister, Vivian Stanley of Stillwater, cousins, Mary Millis (Ron) and Alene Zetterstrom (Tom), dear friend Wayne Gilhorn, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services with military honors will be held 10am Friday, August 17 at the Gerald B H Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Town of Saratoga. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Fire Co No 2, PO Box 145, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. Dear Joe and family, so sorry for your lose, always keep the faith, that your loved one is in a better place, for now he will rest peacefully, in the arms of God. I realize its so hard to grife but its something that has to be done, so you may carry on,in knowing a man so helpful, is needed somewhere else.
