Landon was one of my high school football coaches at Spa Catholic in the mid-80s. I still remember his laugh and how he instilled his love of the game and the value of hard work in me as a young man. I'm sure many other former players share this sentiment. He will be missed. My prayers are with his family.

I will never forget my first day of high school--just moving to Saratoga from sunny California I met two marvelous guys at the bus stop--Landon Moore and Bruce Jones. There friendship at that time was a "divine intervention"--as the move was less than willing. For the rest of my high school career--many laughs were had by all...such an amazing person, a quick smile, a heartfelt hello--my only regret is that I only had a short visit with him at our 40th reunion--as the proud dad was coming back from his son's game. As one of my teachers from the east would say--it is always hardest on those left behind...my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. It is just a reminder that you can never say "I love you" enough to those near and dear. God Bless..

Amy, Phoebe and Lanny. I am so sorry for your loss. I loved your dad dearly and always looked forward to hanging with him when I could. His laugh was infectious and full of joy and love of life. He was/is a very GOOD man who's friendship I valued greatly. Both Nancy and I were greatly saddened at his passing. But he will always be with you, to watch over you. He will be missed. But he does STILL owe me a pizza. God Bless and keep you all. Mark& Nancy Kingsbury, NY

How my heart broke when I received the horribly sad news of Landon's passing! To Deb & Eskey - you know your big bro charmed St. Peter and passed through the pearly gates as if on skates, and is lighting up the big room with his infectious laugh & smile as only he can! I know that when you feel down you will be blessed by his eternal sunshine as he will be sure to light up your day! To Amy & Lil' Landon & Phoebe - though I've never had the pleasure to spend any time with you, I can only imagine the sadness in your hearts created by the untimely passing of your precious Husband & Father! I trust & pray that in time the tremendous pain you feel will be replaced by cherished memories of special times shared with him. I will never forget that Landon is the only person in the whole, wide world who would always call me by my real name "Louisa" instead of Weez or Weezie, and not only be able to get away with it, but make me laugh by doing so! I will forever hold on to memories at the East Side Rec and at Brown's Beach and by being teased insufferably, but also with a twinkle in his eyes, as a lowly Frosh in the hallways @ SHS his Senior Year! I know you have the Angels in stitches, and I know they are already thrilled to call you one of their own!Always & Forever, my friend! xoxo
